Bajaj [India] Employee Dies by Suicide: Blames Work Pressure

Vanya Goel’s Post

A heartbreaking tragedy that reflects the immense pressure many face in today's work environment. Tarun Saxena, a 42-year-old area manager Bajaj Finserv, took his own life after relentless pressure to meet impossible targets. In his note, he revealed the toll it took on his mental health and his fears of losing his job.

This tragedy raises an urgent question: At what cost are we pushing people to meet unrealistic goals? Mental health and humanity must come first.
Tarun leaves behind his wife, two young children, and grieving parents. No job should ever push someone to this point.

Let this serve as a reminder to prioritize compassion over numbers in the workplace.

P.S. This is the third such incident in the last 30 days. It’s time we wake up and address the devastating impact of workplace pressure on mental health. No target or job is worth a life. Let’s prioritize well-being over endless deadlines before it’s too late.
